Secondary School Cricket

A huge number of primary schools in Fingal have been introduced to Cricket over the last number of years with a large number of children still interested in playing when they move to secondary school.

Our Cricket development officer delivers a 4 week secondary school programme to encourage more students to take up cricket or to continue playing. The session can take place either during or after school where the students will be introduced to cricket with batting, bowling and fielding skills as well as mini games.

Games can be played on any type of surface, both indoor and outdoor all year round. No special protective equipment is required and any number of students can play at any given time.

If schools enjoy cricket and want to continue with more sessions or even want to enter teams into the Leinster Schools League, we would be happy to assist.
