Tennis Leaders Course

The Tennis Leaders Course aims to help participants understand how to introduce appropriate programmes of organised play and competition that can be delivered to all participants in clubs, parks and schools regardless of age or ability. The course is aimed at parents, students, club officials, teachers, Parks leaders /assistants and coaches who want to top up their knowledge.

Some topics covered in the course are Tennis Ireland skill awards & associated activities, introductions to courts (red, orange, green), tournament software, safeguarding, competition formats, modified scoring and associated activities.

Please note all participants must have their Garda Vetting Certificate up to date and this will be checked by Tennis Ireland prior to the course taking place.

All courses will be advertised on our Facebook & Twitter pages and also through Eventbrite where you can sign up for upcoming courses in your area. Tennis Leaders course registration.

The Tennis Leaders course is free to all transition year students once organised through the school. A maximum of 20 participants can attend the sessions.
